Lil' Gangsta Baby

Kyson and I went for a walk the other day and I put a baseball cap on him to help keep the sun out. He kept rubbing his head and by the time we got back his hat was turned sideways. He was asleep when we got back, so I got a couple binky shots, then I tried to take his binky out and it woke him up, but it was worth it cause I got the adorable picture of him smiling.

Happy Easter!

Kyson had a pretty fun Easter. He really enjoyed swinging at Grandma and Grandpa Rogers house. We thought these pictures were pretty cute. Can you believe the real Easter Bunny was at the Easter Egg Hunt?

Big Boy!!

Here are some adorable pictures of Kyson! He has been eating rice cereal for about a month now and he just started eating baby food. We have only tried carrots so far, but he really loves them. Tonight he gets to try something new, so we will see how that goes. He has also decided he likes to hold his bottle on his own. It is so cute, we had to snap a few pictures of him.

Oh my gosh!

Kyson has had a pretty eventful couple of days. He rolled over for the first time on Saturday morning and now he is rolling over like an old pro. The first time he did it, I think it was out of frustration, because he was mad at me for trying to change his diaper when he was still really sleepy. But once he realized what he was doing he couldn't get enough. Now he wants to roll on to his belly to sleep, so this should be fun.

He is also getting two teeth. But the weird thing is that they are not the typical first teeth. They are on the top, not the front ones or the ones next to them, but the next. One on each side. Is that pretty unusual? He has been pretty cranky, but I can't blame him. We also thought this was pretty early for teeth, but we don't really know much, so let us know what you think.

Here are a few random pix of Kyson. We haven't posted anything for a while, so I thought we better put some pictures on. He is growing like a weed and being so cute. He is laughing and starting to try to roll over. We took him to the doctor a week ago and he weighed 13lbs. 11ozs. and about 24" long. He is also getting a pretty good bald spot that goes the whole way around his head. It is super cute!

We took Kyson to get his pictures a few weeks ago. He had an ear infection, so he wasn't his usual happy self, but they turned out pretty good considering.

Trying to catch a smile!

Here are a few pictures of Kyson smiling. He has the cutest little smile, but every time we pull out the camera he gets preoccupied with it, so it is hard to catch him smiling. We took him to the doctor today for his 2 month checkup. The doctor said he is doing really well. He weighed 11lbs. 8oz. and was 22 1/4 inches long. He got some vaccinations today also. They gave him one orally and then gave him three shots. Two in one leg and one in the other. He cried for a little bit, but did pretty well. He has been sleeping ever since, so it must have really worn him out.
